My Story
Lindsey Carmela Romano (formerly Bartlett) has been a professional storyteller since 2012, reporting passionately on subcultural beats from street art to cannabis. Her work has been featured in national publications Insider, Entrepreneur, Benzinga, Entrepreneur, Merry Jane, MJBizDaily, Hemp Industry Daily, Marijuana Business Magazine, Forbes, Vanity Fair, and Leafly. Today, she is one of the preeminent authors reporting on the cannabis industry in the United States.
The Denver native began her career at the prestigious alt-weekly Westword. She became the Social Media Producer at The Denver Post and Digital Strategist role of its trailblazing cannabis publication The Cannabist. Romano was Content Technology Specialist for MJBizDaily and Hemp Industry Daily. In 2019, Romano became Associate Editor at Weedmaps News. Today, she lives in Humboldt County, California, writing as a freelance contributor for a diverse array of national bylines. Romano is a cannabis media fellow alumnus of the UVM Pace Plant Biology program.
